Praesum Healthcare has been acquired out of bankruptcy. Public documents show that the M&A firm Bailey & Co. ran an auction for the company on Jan. 16. The court approved the offer made by what appears to be a group identified in the documents as the Mayfair Group or Mayfair / Mandi Group et al. BHB has contacted the counsel of the Mayfair Group seeking clarification. The acquirer will take nearly all of Praesum Healthcare’s assets, excluding cash on hand, claims from other litigation and proceeds from directors and officers (D&O) insurance policies.
