Heartland Dental announced December 22 the acquisition of Tru Family Dental, the Southfield, Michigan-based regional dental support organization (DSO), which includes ten offices in Illinois and thirteen in Michigan. The all-cash transaction closed Monday, Dec. 21. As the nation’s leading DSO, Heartland Dental supports more than 1,700 dentists in over 1,100 offices across 38 states.
