Housatonic Partners is selling intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) treatment business Abound Health, four sources familiar tell Axios Pro. Private equity has flooded the IDD space over the last decade, supplanting the non-profits and faith-based institutions that were once the primary sites of care. Harris Williams is advising the company, which generates around $50 million in EBITDA, two sources say. Charlotte, North Carolina-based Abound offers alternative family living, group homes, supported employment and traumatic brain injury care.
