Labouré College of Healthcare and Curry College have reached an agreement to transition Labouré’s nursing programs to Curry’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences and to establish the Labouré Center for Advancing Healthcare Opportunity at Curry College. Labouré, which has prepared nurses and healthcare professionals to serve Greater Boston and beyond for 135 years, will cease academic operations in August, 2026. The addition of Labouré’s nursing programs and support services to Curry’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences brings together two longstanding and well-respected nurse educators to create one of the largest, comprehensive nursing schools in New England, offering associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs.
