Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health has become the sole owner of MRI Group LLP and Lancaster PET Partnership LLP. The groups, which are headquartered in Lancaster city, have six locations in Lancaster and Chester counties. Previously, LG Heath and Lancaster Radiology Associates jointly owned the service groups, which provide MRI services and PET imaging, scans that show signs of cancer, heart disease and brain problems. The practices are separate legal entities that run as affiliated partnerships under the umbrella organization MRI Group, LG Health spokesperson Marcie Brody said. Physicians at Lancaster Radiology Associates will continue to interpret MRI results.
