A medical office building in midtown Wilmington recently changed hands for $17 million. Southern California-based private equity firm IRA Capital closed on the medical office building, which houses EmergeOrtho at 2716 Ashton Drive, in late December, according to a deed recorded last week. The investment firm purchased the building and its surrounding four-acre property from Healthpeak Properties Inc., another health care real estate investment firm, according to the deed. Property records show Healthpeak acquired the property in 2017 for $15 million.
