National Health Investors, Inc. (NYSE:NHI) announced that it invested $106.9 million, including transaction costs, for the acquisition of seven properties with 532 units in Colorado. NHI expects to make an additional investment of $3.6 million during the first year. The properties and healthcare operations will be included in NHI’s Senior Housing Operating Portfolio (“SHOP”) segment and are managed by Generations, LLC, an existing NHI Real Estate Investments relationship. The communities are expected to generate an initial NOI yield of approximately 8.3% and 7.8% after routine capital expenditures.
