Deaconess Associations Incorporated (DAI), a faith-based not-for-profit, has agreed to acquire 31 home health and hospice agencies in eight states from HCA Healthcare, for an undisclosed amount. Upon closing, the agencies will become part of Central Pyramid, a home health and hospice subsidiary of DAI. “This agreement allows us to deepen our current presence and expand our geographic reach through established home health and hospice agencies that align with our mission and long-term strategy,” Trey Crabb, CEO of Cincinnati-based DAI, said in a statement.
