Under the bill, the Oregon Health Authority would review the track record of companies seeking hospice licenses before granting approval. The agency would examine factors such as results from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys and other performance data to determine whether applicants meet quality and compliance standards.
