Palm Primary Care Texas (“Palm”), part of the MBF Healthcare Partners II, L.P. (“MBF”) portfolio and Florida-based Palm Medical Centers, has acquired the assets of two primary care practices located in Dallas and Duncanville, from Texas Health Physicians Group. With this acquisition, Palm has now opened or acquired six primary care clinics in Tarrant and Dallas counties since June 2023.The first clinic, located at 3920 W Wheatland Rd Ste 152 in south Dallas, is led by Bane Smith, MD and Eliazar Garcia Alvarez, MD, both of whom have served at the clinic for over 20 years. Dr. Smith also serves as the medical director of the second clinic, located at 545 W Wheatland Rd. in Duncanville, where Charles McWilliams, APRN, FNP is the lead provider.
