Spine procedures have seen some of the most rapid growth in the outpatient setting in the last five years, according to a March report from commercial real estate company JLL. Outpatient spine cases have increased just over 3% in the last five years, while inpatient spine cases have decreased 1%. Overall, outpatient volumes in the U.S. are anticipated to grow 10.6%, while inpatient volumes will increase just 0.9% over the next five years.
