(NASDAQ: ENSG), the parent company of the Ensign™ group of skilled nursing, rehabilitative care services and assisted living companies, announced today that it acquired the real estate and operations of The Healthcare Center at Patriot Heights, a healthcare campus with 59 skilled nursing beds and 158 independent living units located in San Antonio, Texas. The acquisition was effective January 1, 2020. This acquisition brings Ensign’s growing portfolio to 214 skilled nursing operations, 23 of which also include assisted living operations, across thirteen states. Ensign owns the real estate at 90 healthcare operations.
