The transition of 110 clinicians and staff from Drexel Medicine, Drexel University’s academic medical group, to Tower Health Medical Group became official Jan. 1. Last May, West Reading-based Tower Health and Drexel University in Philadelphia signed a letter of intent to form a combined academic medicine physician practice through Tower Health Medical Group. The group joining Tower Health Medical Group consists of 52 physicians, 10 advance practice nurses and 48 support staff.
