Farmington, Conn.-based UConn Health has signed a letter of intent with Putnam, Conn.-based Day Kimball Hospital and Bristol (Conn.) Health for the two parties to join the health system. “This is an important step in strengthening partnerships that expand access to care and bring the expertise of an academic medical center closer to the communities we serve,” Andy Agwunobi, MD, CEO of UConn Health, said in a statement shared with Becker’s.
