Altru Health System and CommonSpirit Health have officially completed the transaction to transfer ownership of CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake to Altru Health System, effective March 1, 2026, marking an important milestone in expanding access to care across the Lake Region. The transition brings the hospital in Devils Lake under Altru Health System, strengthening local access to comprehensive, high-quality care while ensuring patients can continue to receive services close to home. Going forward, the hospital will now be known as Altru Hospital Devils Lake.
