Rapid City (S.D.) Medical Center has signed a letter of intent to join Monument Health, a Rapid City-based community health system. The parties plan to sign definitive agreements under the LOI and close the transaction this spring, according to a news release shared with Becker’s. Rapid City Medical Center and Monument Health will operate independently throughout the transition, with clinic locations, insurance participation, patient care and providers unchanged.
